Terms of Use
Last updated 4 July 2026
Broda is an early beta prototype offered as-is. By using it you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the health and content sections below.
What Broda is
Broda turns podcasts your community trusts into scannable summaries, topic guides, and quotes that link back to the original audio. Every summary points to its source so you can listen to the moment it came from.
Not medical advice
Medical content on Broda consists of educational summaries of third-party podcasts. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Using Broda does not create a doctor–patient relationship with us or with any podcaster.
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read on Broda. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
Faith content
Church and faith summaries reflect the views and teachings of the individual speakers and shows they come from. They are provided for study and reflection and do not represent an endorsement by Broda of any particular belief, denomination, or interpretation.
AI summaries and accuracy
Our summaries may be generated or assisted by AI. They can contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. The original audio is the source of truth — where a summary or quote matters to you, follow the deep link and listen to the source before relying on it.
Podcast content and copyright
The podcasts, transcripts, and audio referenced on Broda belong to their respective creators and rights holders. We attribute content and link back to the original source wherever possible. We don't claim ownership of that underlying content.
If you are a rights holder and believe your content is used improperly, or you'd like it removed, contact us at hello@broda.app and we'll respond promptly.
Your account and content
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. When you post comments or questions, you keep ownership of what you write, but you grant us a licence to display it within Broda so others can see it.
When posting, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other people;
- give medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice to other users — questions are welcome, prescriptions are not;
- post spam, advertising, or misleading health or financial claims;
- share unlawful content or infringe someone else's rights.
We may moderate, edit, or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules or put others at risk. We aren't obliged to monitor everything, but we may act when something is reported or noticed.
Disclaimer of warranties
Broda is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Broda and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, or from reliance on any content or summary. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Broda is established [governing-law jurisdiction to be confirmed before public launch], without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Contact and changes
We may update these terms as Broda develops; the “last updated” date above will change when we do. Questions? Email hello@broda.app.
